On October 13, 2023, Shandong Province Science and Technology Innovation Group (Shandong SCI) visited Zhonghuan International. The visiting team included Wang Li, General Manager (Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee/Director) of Shandong Province Scitech Innovation Group Co. Ltd, Cheng Guang, Deputy General Manager of the Group, Wang Bo, Outside Director of the Group, Zhang Chen, President of Shandong Shanko Industrial Development ResearchInstitute (SIDRI),Wang Hao, Head of Strategic Planning and Policy Research of SIDRI. Mr. Miao Zhizhuang, Chairman of Zhonghuan International, Mr. Cai Wandong, Executive Director of Zhonghuan International, Mr. Gao Jing, Executive President of Zhonghuan International, received them warmly. During the meeting, they exchanged in-depth cooperation with Zhonghuan International on the industrial development of the projects under Shandong SciTech, fund cooperation, landing of high-quality enterprises in Saudi Arabia, etc., and reached a cooperation intention.

        Mr. Miao welcomed the visit of the delegation from Shandong SciTech and firstly watched a short video of the enterprise propaganda,and then Mr.Miao introduced Zhonghuan's enterprise development history, independent core technology, green industry layout, overseas expansion in Saudi Arabia and other basic information, and explained the progress of the projects that have already been carried out in Saudi Arabia with the visiting guests.

        Mr. Wang expressed that he was very honored to meet with Mr.Miao, hoping to understand each other and find a cooperation point. Mr.Wang elaborated the basic situation of Shandong Scitech, investment scale, enterprise advantages, industrial cooperation and other information. After listening to the introduction of Mr. Miao, he had a further understanding of the technical advantages and industry characteristics of Zhonghuan, and could deeply study the project cooperation and the docking of Saudi resources with the help of Zhonghuan's resources.

       The industry alignment and collaboration between the two parties are highly elevated through extensive communication Zhonghuan Group already has advanced process technology and perfect solutions in many fields such as recycling economy industrial parks, hazardous waste disposal, sewage treatment, etc., which can help the government and enterprises to realize the recycling of resources, while Shandong SciTech has rich government resources in the province, which can assist the government to introduce Zhonghuan projects to solve the pain point problems.

        Zhonghuan has completed several projects in Saudi Arabia and possesses advanced equipment and disposal technology. The Circular Economy Industrial Park established by Zhonghuan in Saudi Arabia is extensive and encompasses a wide range of high-quality domestic enterprises that can be introduced into the park. Meanwhile, Shandong SciTech has invested in incubating numerous emerging enterprises focused on new energy, new materials, and other sectors. Through collaboration with Zhonghuan, these enterprises have the opportunity to expand their operations to Saudi Arabia and achieve cross-regional development.

After productive discussions, both sides reached a consensus on exploring opportunities in the recycling industry in Saudi Arabia and decided to cooperate closely. With its capabilities and qualifications, Zhonghuan is able to assist the government in addressing urban pollution prevention issues as well as supporting enterprises' overseas expansion efforts.
