On December 7, 2023, Zhonghuan International Party Branch conducted the second lecture of the series of party courses on studying "Xi Jinping Thought on Socialism with Chinese Characteristics for a New Era." The lecture focused on the fundamental direction of adhering to and developing socialism with Chinese characteristics as the contemporary China's path of progress. The session was chaired by Comrade Xu Xiaoying, the Secretary of the Party Branch, with the participation of all party members and active participants. The objective was to deepen the study and understanding of "Xi Jinping Thought on Socialism with Chinese Characteristics for a New Era" and clarify the significance of the development of socialism with Chinese characteristics. It emphasized that only socialism can save China, only socialism with Chinese characteristics can develop China, and only through this can the great rejuvenation of the Chinese nation be achieved.

Socialism with Chinese characteristics is a precious achievement that the Party and the people have obtained through countless hardships and various sacrifices. It is the correct path our Party has found to realize the Chinese Dream. Since the beginning of reform and opening up, our Party has united the people of all ethnic groups, raised high the great banner of socialism with Chinese characteristics, and tirelessly strived to propel our country's economic strength, scientific and technological capabilities, national defense capabilities, and overall national strength to the forefront of the world. This has led to an unprecedented elevation of our country's international status and enabled the Chinese nation to stand tall in the world with a new posture.

Secretary Xu concluded by stating, "History and reality have taught us that a social revolution often requires a long historical process to achieve ultimate victory. Yesterday's success does not guarantee perpetual success in the future, and past glory does not guarantee perpetual splendor. The more achievements we attain, the more cautious we should be, as if treading on thin ice. We must always remain vigilant even in times of security. To ensure the prosperity, development, enduring stability of the Party and the country, we must steadfastly adhere to Xi Jinping Thought on Socialism with Chinese Characteristics for a New Era."
