On August 29th, 2023, Miao Zhizhuang, the Chairman of Zhonghuan International, and Li Guangwei, the Southwest Regional President, were invited to visit the Chongchuan District Government in Nantong City, Jiangsu Province. Resource Sharing and Win-win Cooperation

Li Jianbo believed that after this exchange, there was a more comprehensive understanding of Zhonghuan Group. Zhonghuan Group not only possesses advanced technological processes and effective solutions in the fields of circular economy industrial parks, hazardous waste disposal, and wastewater treatment, but also helps the Chinese government and enterprises achieve resource recycling. It has also expanded its industries and landed in Saudi Arabia, becoming one of the pioneering enterprises to follow the national "Belt and Road" policy locally. Chongchuan District focuses on promoting new energy projects and industrial development as the main direction to optimize the energy structure and achieve carbon peak and carbon neutrality. It focuses on vigorously promoting the construction of a green energy system in areas such as wind power, photovoltaics, hydrogen energy, and energy storage. In recent years, many high-quality enterprises have emerged, and the government hopes to take the lead in providing opportunities for these enterprises to follow Zhonghuan's footsteps and achieve cross-regional development. Chairman Miao stated that after years of efforts, Zhonghuan Group has successfully established a presence in Saudi Arabia and implemented key projects. They have a deep understanding of Saudi Arabia's industrial needs, and they have the ability and qualifications to assist the government in overseas expansion. They will accelerate resource alignment and project implementation based on the market demands in Saudi Arabia. In the future, both parties can establish a QFLP Industrial Fund to provide resource guarantees for enterprise development through industrial support.

Leveraging Zhonghuan's experience and resources, excellent enterprises from Chongchuan District will be recommended to establish production capacity in Saudi Arabia, while high-quality resources from Saudi Arabia will be introduced into Chongchuan District, achieving mutual benefits and win-win outcomes.

Introduction to Chongchuan District, Nantong City

Chongchuan District is located in the central part of Jiangsu Province, on the north bank of the Yangtze River estuary, with a total area of 234 square kilometers. As of October 2022, Chongchuan District has jurisdiction over 16 streets, and it also has two provincial-level economic development zones and one provincial-level high-tech zone. The district has a permanent population of 1.2246 million. In 2022, Chongchuan District achieved a regional GDP of 167.693 billion yuan, including an added value of 129 million yuan from the primary industry (agriculture, forestry, animal husbandry, and fisheries), 54.585 billion yuan from the secondary industry (industry and construction), and 112.978 billion yuan from the tertiary industry (trade, investment promotion, real estate, and tourism).
